Civil litigation is the process whereby two or more persons involved in a dispute have their dispute resolved by the Courts. Each party presents its side to the Court and the Court, either through the Judge or by a jury, decides the outcome. There are several levels of civil court. Small cases are heard in State District Court while larger cases are tried in State Circuit Court. Cases involving questions of federal law or involving parties from different states are heard in Federal Court. Most other areas of law can be classified under civil litigation whenever a dispute arises.

Agricultural Law
Agricultural Law has customarily been thought of as an area of law better suited for the Delta. However, as times have changed in Northwest Arkansas, our local agricultural community faces a whole new set of obstacles that are new to this generation. Unprecedented growth and urban sprawl has created a new landscape in Benton and Washington Counties. Environmental issues, regulations, banking issues, and landowner issues are just a few of the things that weren't thought about in the prior generations, but must be addressed in today's world.
Another very important issue for farmers and landowners in this area is estate
planning. If you own real estate in Northwest Arkansas, there is a good chance
you have a real need for estate planning
